A landmark on the “Boulevard Tangérois”, the main artery of Tangier, the Rembrandt Hotel was built in 1948.

Originally, it was an old small motel which belonged to the Toledano family, Spanish Jews of the Jewish faith who settled in Morocco.

The hotel opened its doors in 1950, and took the name of the street it houses, Rue Rembrandt.

In 1979 the hotel was bought by Doctor Abdellatif and Mr. M'hammed, known as the Benjelloun Touimi brothers.

The two brothers are recognized as two great figures in the fight for the independence of Morocco.

And since then, thanks to the efforts of this family, from father to son, Le Rembrandt continues to welcome and satisfy its customers.

Today, the establishment offers 70 rooms & suites, all equipped with the comfort necessary for any type of trip.

One of the best restaurants in the area, “Le restaurant L’Hexagone”.

A trendy gastropub, “Le Blue Pub Chiringuito”, overlooking a pretty tropical garden and outdoor swimming pool.

And a tea room “Le Saint James Bar” with a magnificent view of the sea and the city’s new marina.

Meeting rooms as well as private parking are available to its visitors.

And all, right in the city center, just a 5-minute walk from the most popular activities in Tangier.
